ATLANTA – The 43rd ASUN Conference Men's Soccer regular season came to a close on Tuesday night, but the action did not go away quietly as a combined 15 goals were scored across four matchups. When the lights went out on the season, the Championship bracket came into focus as reigning champion and 12th-ranked Lipscomb regained the #1 seed while Central Arkansas earned the #2 seed. Stetson will meet Bellarmine in a #3 vs. #6 First Round matchup, respectively, in Conway. In the other First Round match, #4 FGCU takes on #5 North Florida in Nashville with both games set for Saturday, Nov. 5.

The Hatters were off to a blistering start on Tuesday, needing a win to capture the #3 seed, the team tallied four goals in the first 9:49 of game action and rolled to a 6-3 home victory of FGCU. UNF benefitted from a goal in the opening minute of the second half for its second-consecutive 1-0 outcome against crosstown rival, Jacksonville. Looking to go out on a positive note, Liberty and Queens saw their 2022 campaigns come to a close with a 2-2 draw in Charlotte. Ploutarchos Alonefti lifted the Bisons to the regular-season ending victory after he cleaned up a loose ball inside the box in the 16th minute as the defense played to their eighth clean sheet of the season over Bellarmine.
