Liberty's Dilfer Joins UNF Trio in Earning @ASUNVolleyball Weekly Awards

ATLANTA - The ASUN Conference weekly honors went to Liberty's Delaney Dilfer along with North Florida's Mahalia White, Rocio Moro and Savannah Cook, announced Monday by the league office. White (Player) and Cook (Freshman) garnered their first weekly honors while Moro claimed her eighth Defensive Player of the Week recognition. The Ospreys took down Jacksonville State and Kennesaw State last weekend, both in five sets. Dilfer secured her second Setter of the Week honor after the Flames picked up road victories at Stetson and FGCU.


Volleyball Player of the Week
Mahalia White, North Florida
Junior | Outside Hitter | Canoga Park, Calif.
- First Career ASUN Player of the Week award; 12th in UNF program history
- Averaged 5.10 kills and 2.40 digs in two five-set victories for the Ospreys
- Notched a double-double with 25 kills and 15 digs against Jacksonville State on Friday
- Followed up with 26 kills and nine digs in Saturday's defeat of Kennesaw State
- Hit a .291 for the weekend; currently ranks second in the ASUN for kills per set (4.12)

Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week
Rocio Moro, North Florida
Junior | Defensive Specialist | San Juan, P.R.
- Eighth Career ASUN Defensive Player of the Week award; 20th all-time honor for UNF
- Averaged 5.20 digs per set as North Florida defeated JSU and KSU last weekend
- Recorded 31 digs in a five-set victory against the Gamecocks on Friday
- Surpassed 2,000 digs for her career on Saturday in the win against the Owls
- Currently ranks third all-time in ASUN history with 2,015 career digs

Volleyball Setter of the Week

- Second Career ASUN Setter of the Week honor; second honor for Liberty
- Recorded an average of 13.29 assists per set in wins on the road against Stetson and FGCU last weekend 
- Tallied a double-double with 44 assists and 11 digs in the sweep of the Hatters
- Posted 49 assists and eight digs in the Flames' first win against the Eagles in Fort Myers
- Added four service aces and three total blocks to her weekend stat line

Freshman | Setter | Wilmington, N.C.

- First Career ASUN Freshman of the Week honor; 20th Freshman award for the Ospreys
- Averaged 9.90 assists per set as UNF defeated Jacksonville State and Kennesaw State
- Notched 52 assists in a five-set victory against the Gamecocks on Friday
- Followed with a double-double performance against the Owls (47 assists, 11 digs)
- Currently on a streak of five consecutive matches with at least 47 assists
