ATLANTA - The 2022 ASUN Conference Volleyball Championship continues on Friday in Nashville, Tenn., inside Lipscomb's Allen Arena. A matchup between #2 FGCU and #6 Kennesaw State gets the action started at 4 PM CT followed by #1 Liberty meeting tournament host #4 Lipscomb at 7 PM CT. The Championship Final takes place on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 7 PM CT. All of the tournament's matches are scheduled to stream live on ESPN+.

- The Eagles improved to 17-10 in ASUN Championship play after defeating North Florida in the teams' fourth postseason matchup.
- FGCU's Dana Axner recorded five digs in the quarterfinal match against UNF and is now 19 away from becoming the league's all-time career leader in the category.
- Friday's contest marks the third semifinal matchup between FGCU and Kennesaw State; the Eagles swept the last meeting and are 3-3 in the postseason against the Owls.

- Thursday's win against Jacksonville State improved Kennesaw State's record in the ASUN Championship to 10-9 as the Owls return to the semifinal round after losing in last season's quarterfinals.
- KSU avenged a five-set loss to JSU in the 2021 Championship; the teams are now 1-1 when facing off in the conference postseason.
- Freshman of the Year Manu Johnsen ended the match on Thursday with a 24-kill, 11-dig double-double along with three total blocks and two service aces.
- The Owls prepare to face FGCU for the third time in the semifinals; the teams previously met in the championship final four years in-a-row (2016-19).

- For the third time since joining the conference, Liberty is competing in the ASUN Championship Semifinals (2018, 19).
- The Flames improved to 3-4 in ASUN Championship play after defeating Stetson for the second time in the teams' two postseason meetings.
- ASUN Setter of the Year Delaney Dilfer ended the match with 58 assists for Liberty and now has a total of 1,238 this season which ranks sixth in the NCAA.
- After sweeping the Bisons earlier this season, the Flames prepare to battle Lipscomb for the first time in the ASUN Championship.

- Thursday's win against Central Arkansas set up the 17th appearance in the ASUN Championship Semifinals for Lipscomb in 18 consecutive trips to the postseason.
- The Bisons improved to 26-10 in the ASUN postseason after defeating the Sugar Bears, three victories shy of Stetson for the most all-time by any program.
- Lipscomb is now one step closer to hoisting the league trophy on its home floor for the fourth time (2011, 15, 16).
- Standing between the Bisons and another championship final appearance is a match with top-seeded Liberty; Lipscomb is 6-2 all-time against the Flames.
